All season long, Ben Simmons has been getting comparisons to NBA household name, LeBron James. Early in his career, LeBron played point guard, and was compared to Magic Johnson. With that in his basketball DNA, Ben Simmons was destined to make history.

Ben Simmons has led the Philadelphia 76ers to a 52-30 record, their first 50-win season, since Iverson led the Sixers to the Finals. He, along with Joel Embiid and JJ Redick have led to Sixers to a 3-1 lead over the veteran Miami Heat. Here, Ben Simmons has made history.

With 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, Ben Simmons got a triple double in the Game 4 victory. This put him in unique company, as a rookie getting a triple double in a playoff game. Ben Simmons is the first rookie since Magic Johnson, on May 14, 1980, to get a triple double.
