On “Drink Champs,” Kanye West credited Beanie Sigel for nicknaming him Yeezy. With that, Kanye said he owes Beans some money. Deals later, Sigel took to the stage, claiming Kanye gave him $50 million, and 5% stock in the company.
Beanie Sigel rose to fame as a member of Roc-A-Fella Records. His time with Jay-Z led to him becoming a millionaire. However, a 5% stake would leave Beans worth $160 million, worst case scenario.
Recently, Beanie Sigel spoke to TMZ, and he discussed the Kanye West situation. While he admitted to coining the “Yeezy” phrase, Beans said Kanye owes him nothing but love. He went onto say he would like to do business with him.
