Hip hop’s most-entertaining artist, right now, is Gunplay. His energy is unlike any other artist in the game. Several segments of hip hop have faded away, while other divisions of hip hop have taken off. The witty, comical, side of hip hop has been overlooked, but there is one person, Gunplay, who is keeping the part of hip hop alive.
Earlier this year, Gunplay released his Cops N Robbers mixtape. Met with positive reviews, it was clear there is much more to Gunplay than meets the eye. Beating all of the odds stacked against him, Gunplay has a big year set for himself this year and his mixtape was just the beginning.
Battle Royal Entertainment had the chance to talk to Gunplay, featuring him in their segment, “Behind the Music.” During his interview, Gunplay opened up on several topics, especially his takeover of the rap game. Gunplay talked about several topics in this personal interview.
