Barry Hankerson says Aaliyah’s upcoming “Unstoppable” album will be out this month, and will feature Future, The Weeknd, Chris Brown, Drake, and more [VIDEO]

In 2021, more of Aaliyah’s albums finally began to become available on streaming services. Fans will also finally be getting a brand new Aaliyah album this month, with “Unstoppable.”

The late singer’s uncle, Barry Hankerson, recently spoke to Star 99.7’s Geno Jones, and revealed that the album will be out sometime this month. It’s led by the “Poison” single which was released last month, and featured The Weeknd.

Hankerson also added that other stars will also appear on Unstoppable, such as Future, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Drake, Ne-Yo, and more. He revealed that Drake is a huge fan of Aaliyah’s music, too. Many remember Drake being featured on Aaliyah’s 2012 “Enough Said” song.

“The body of work is pure hip-hop and R&B,” Hankerson said to Billboard as well. “I think it’s going to be big with urban and R&B stations. Some of the people that Aaliyah liked are on the album. She loved Snoop Dogg, who’s done a great record in collaboration with Future. They’re going in now to refreshen their vocals. Ne-Yo gave us an excellent song; also Drake.”
