Former President Barack Obama has been putting together annual summer playlists for a few years now. Ahead of tonight’s Democratic National Convention, Mr. Obama posted the 2020 playlist on his social media feeds.
“I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family. I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer—including songs from some of the artists at this week’s @DemConvention. Hope you enjoy it.”
There are plenty of fan favorites by Obama such as “My Affection” by Summer Walker featuring PartyNextDoor, “Savage” remix by Megan Thee Stallion feat. Beyoncé, “Already” by Beyoncé feat. Shatta Wale and Major Lazer, and 2016’s “Work” by Rihanna feat. Drake. Party appeared on this playlist multiple times such as on “Twist & Turn” by Popcaan and also Drake, and his “PGT.” H.E.R. also had a few appearances with songs such as “As I Am” and on Wizkid’s “Smile” single.
These are all solid choices by Barack. Hopefully, we get Michelle’s playlist soon as well. Check his summer 2020 playlist out below.
