Atlanta Home, Where R. Kelly Allegedly Held Women Against Their Will, is Sold For Over $1.7 Million

R. Kelly has been incarcerated since the summer of 2019 on federal charges of sexual assault, with many women who at the time, were underage. He was charged in three states, New York, Minnesota, and his home state of Illinois. Kelly’s Chicago trial date is set for September 13. The Brooklyn trial is expected to be on August 9.

Kelly, for years, has been accused of holding women against. One of these cities that this allegedly took place, was in Atlanta. Now, the home that this supposedly happened in, has been sold, according to TMZ.

Legal documents state that the home was sold on June 3 for $1,785,000. Here, this property was shown on the 2019 Lifetime docuseries, “Surviving R. Kelly.” Women in this home claim that they were abused to the point where they had to ask permission for bathroom usage and even being able to eat. The home is listed at 11,455 sq. ft., and contains 7-bedrooms, and 12-foot ceilings.

Amenities of this home include seven fireplaces, home theater and a 4-car garage, pool, spa, tree house, playhouse and tennis court. The history of this home definitely seems awkward based on the R. Kelly allegations, but for this buyer, the home likely seemed beautiful enough for them.
