Since her win for Playboy‘s Miss Social June 2012, Ashley Salazar has been competing to appear in Playboy South Africa. Ashley Salazar has dreamed of gracing the pages of Playboy since she began her modeling career. Over the past few yeaes, Ashley Salazar has built a sizable following and has appeared in many other publications.
Comparable to her quest for Playboy‘s Miss Social, Ashley Salazar has tried previously to appear in Playboy South Africa. After coming up short for the June 2011 edition of Playboy‘s Miss Social, Ashley Salazar put forth a strong effort and won the June 2012 title. Ashley Salazar was hoping to have similar success in her quest to appear in Playboy South Africa.
Ashley Salazar recently learned she did not win a spot in Playboy South Africa. Maintaining her usual gracious composure, Ashley Salazar did congratulate the winner. However, saddened by her loss, only a few thousand votes short of the title, Ashley Salazar thanked her supportive fan base. Through Facebook posts, Ashley Salazar thanked her fans.

“Well everyone its the last day of the month. I really tried hard with Playboy South Africa. Thank you so much for everyone who voted. I know two months of me asking everyday to vote gets annoying and I’m sorry if I was. Been promoting & submitting to them for past year, I wish I could have caught up on votes but I’m still down like 6,000 and today is the last day. Feel like this entire summer I haven’t slept promoting Playboy 24/7. I tried but its too hard to catch up. Thank you everyone who voted again, regardless your votes mattered to me so much.”
