This week, a lot of focus has been given to Compton, as this is the home of NWA, the focus of Straight Outta Compton. A biopic dedicated to the rise of Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella, the movie broke August records. It also caused a lot of discussion with the masses.
Because of the various members of the group and the different stories, there are different opinions. Some people are Dr. Dre fans, others are fans of Ice Cube, and some are diehard Eazy-E fans. However, most people are in tune with the story.
However, most would think a CNN pundit is not someone well versed in the NWA history. Yesterday, Straight Outta Compton was the topic of discussion on CNN, as it doubled its earning projections. Ashleigh Banfield discussed Straight Outta Compton having no violent breakouts at theaters with a legal analyst.
