In the early 2000s, Ashanti rose to become one of the leading vocalists in the game. Her association with prime Murder Inc. helped Ashanti quickly become a big name. Many of her earliest records were with the likes of Ja Rule, Jennifer Lopez, and Fat Joe.
Ashanti, however, went through a decline when Murder Inc. fell from grace. Unfortunately, her career never rebounded, and she was soon forgotten. On social media, Ashanti is often taunted, despite still being a great singer.
During a recent performance, Ashanti was being taunted by one fan, who kept throwing money on her. Treating her as if she were a stripper, Ashanti ended up calling him out. Letting him know she wasn’t a “f*cking stripper,” Ashanti asked him to stop.
