People can be so cruel, even on days of giving, such as today. Before the big football game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions, they had Aretha Franklin do the National Anthem. Of course, Aretha put her own spin on it.
Going outside of the box has had her going against the football fans who want to see the game. While there is plenty of love for the old school where Chaka Khan is concerned, it doesn’t extend to Aretha. After this performance, they are done with her.
Aretha Franklin took her time doing her performance, upsetting fans who want to watch football. They had no chill for her and her performance. The fans were so upset that they even were making fun of her teeth.
