Archie Eversole’s brother shot him while sleeping

Last week, it was reported that legendary Atlanta rapper, Archie Eversole, was shot on March 25. He went on to succumb to his injuries on April 3. TMZ initially reported that Archie was shot at a Chevron gas station by his brother, Alexander Krause, in Atlanta.

Now, more details are starting to surface, in the murder of Archie. According to TMZ, Archie was shot in the jaw by his brother, at his home. A police report states that Archie’s brother kicked in the door to his room, and fired the gun. Archie supposedly couldn’t see who shot him, at first.

Police soon asked Archie if the shooter was still in the home, which he confirmed yes. Archie then supposedly lost consciousness, and couldn’t confirm to police that it was his brother. Police soon found out on their own that that was the shooter.

The scene was disturbing, as police say that blood covered the front door, and there was a trail of blood from the stairs, to Archie’s room. Blood was seen on pillows, his bed, and the wall. Krause tried to claim he was just checking on Archie, even though there was blood on his socks. Krause also claimed that he had a blister. He is still in DeKalb County Jail, on a murder charge.

Archie was best known for his 2002 “We Ready” single, featuring Bubba Sparxxx. This is a very popular record at sports games, especially in Atlanta. Archie partnered with Atlanta United FC, as well. He was 37 at the time of his death.
