AR-AB 45 years prison drug organizationIn Philadelphia, AR-AB has been a force of nature for a long time. He has dominated the rap scene, signed with Cash Money, for a time. All the way through, AR-AB always boasted about having his own cash.

AR-AB is an independent guy, at heart, so he’d return to his native, Philly, independent. However, he maintained good relationships with Cash Money. Now, AR-AB has much bigger problems.

This afternoon, AR-AB was sentenced to 45 years in prison. He was convicted of running a drug operation, which implicated one murder. US District Judge, Michael Baylson, said AR-AB came into the court room with an attitude, showing little remorse, as his crimes were laid out.

When allowed to speak, AR-AB said people don’t understand his music, which often references the drug lifestyle. AR-AB said he doesn’t rap about “flowers and rainbows,” instead they rap about the drug dealing and violence they grew up in.
