Antonio Brown says Colin Kaepernick is “trash” and is never in the hood
It’s been six years now, since Colin Kaepernick played in an NFL game. This comes after Kaepernick kneeled in games before the national anthem during the 2016 NFL season, to protest racism and police brutality. Kaepernick has since had trouble getting signed to another team, despite having several workouts, in front of teams.
Kaepernick has since been using his Know Your Rights Camp, to help communities nationwide. Kaep has also been showing his workout videos on social media, to show NFL teams that he is still very much in great shape.
Many athletes have supported Kaepernick’s position over the last six years. One who doesn’t appear to though, is Antonio Brown. AB got cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in January, after leaving in the middle of a game vs the New York Jets. AB claimed that Head Coach Bruce Arians tried to force him to play on an injured ankle.
In a new interview on the Cigar Talk podcast, AB made it known that he doesn’t feel Kaepernick much. He says how Kaepernick isn’t from the hood, and is never there, or in the “trenches.” AB added that he’s “trash,” as well. Many fans have since said that AB is wrong about his comments, and that Kaepernick has made impacts in positive ways, everywhere.
This year, AB has since become more into creating music, as last month, he put out his “Paradigm” album. AB featured Keyshia Cole, 42 Dugg, DaBaby, Young Thug, and more, on that project. He was also named president of Kanye West’s “Donda Sports” brand.
