Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo talk about their big performance against the Blazers, going up 2-0, heading back to New Orleans + Jrue Holiday talks scoring 33 points in the win

Last year, the New Orleans Pelicans pulled off a trade, during the festivities for All-Star weekend. This trade brought DeMarcus Cousins to the Big Easy. The New Orleans Pelicans effectively have their own dynamic duo in Cousins and Anthony Davis.

Immediately, critics thought the Pelicans would make a mad dash at the eighth seed, and would be the toughest in history. Some thought they were a legitimate threat to the Warriors. While the Pelicans got better, they still managed to miss the playoffs.

Eager to make up for last year, the Pelicans put together a solid season, landing in the sixth spot. Ironically, they were only one game out of three, where the Blazers sit, despite heroic performances from Damian Lillard, who led them on a late-season 14-game win streak. Last night, the Pelicans erased that, as they went up 2-0 in Portland, going back to New Orleans, after which the media spoke with Anthony Davis, Rajon Rondo, and Jrue Holiday, who each had huge games.
