Nearly seven years ago, “black-ish” premiered on ABC, and the show became a major hit. Starring Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, the show has tackled many issues, concerning race. This was the vision for the series.

Anthony Anderson, as one of the producers of the show, has put a lot of these themes in motion. Clearly, this is a role that he loves playing. The people, especially hip hop, has loved watching it, over the years.

Recently, Anthony Anderson stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” where he spoke to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God, about this. The conversation saw them tackle the black stories discussion. This led to a discussion about the “black-ish” legacy and the years that have passed.
