When seeing the treatment Anika (Grace Gealey) is receiving from “husband,” Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Leah (Leslie Uggams), it is easy to feel sorry for her. However, when reminded that Anika killed Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday), it fades. But, she won tonight.
Lucious, early in tonight’s “Empire” episode laid down the law to Anika, while a model “pleased” him. Later, when Lucious is handling business, Anika calls him to their home. This was all after Lucious told Anika, in no uncertain terms, she would NOT work for Empire again.
As Lucious entered, Anika was getting “pleased” by a member of the security team. Obviously, Lucious was upset and he laid into Anika for how she was acting, before she reminded him that Tariq (Morocco Omari) is after him and not her and then she let him know how it would go down. Twitter was definitely here for Anika tonight.
