Every few months, Angela Rye pays a visit to Power 105.1, to speak with “The Breakfast Club.” Charlamagne Tha God calls her their “political commentator.” Certain people visit “The Breakfast Club” so much that they call them “honorary members.”
Angela Rye became a frequent guest on the show, following the 2016 elections. That cycle saw Donald Trump become president, to the dismay of much of the hip hop world. Early in 2019, Trump has the government shutdown.
In Angela Rye’s return to “The Breakfast Club,” DJ Envy started the conversation like he always does, asking about Trump. The commentary was about the shutdown of the government and his tantrum, which got plenty of laughs from Angela Yee and Charlamagne. But, she touched on much more.
