Female rappers’ comeback was another of the many highlights of 2012. Toward the end of the summer, Angel Haze became the latest femcee to emerge. In August, Haze made news when she signed with Universal Republic. Representing New York City, Angel Haze was a part of two major hip hop comebacks.

Back in October, Angel Haze released her Classick EP. The project featured remixes of several hits from ten years ago. Angel Haze remixed such tracks as Eminem’s 2002 hit single, “Cleanin’ Out My Closet,” and Missy Elliott’s “Gossip Folk.” For her efforts, Haze was met with positive feedback.

Moving forward, Angel Haze previously announced her New York EP. Featuring some of her older music, such as “Werkin’ Girls,” Angel Haze announced the release date. The date of the project was announced by Angel Haze via Twitter. New York will be unleashed to the world on December 11, four days from now.
