Amina Buddafly says she’s the bad guy for speaking on Peter Gunz’ son
On this week’s “Love & Hip Hop Family Reunion,” the topic of LGBTQ+ rights came up. Jonathan Fernandez spoke about being bullied for being gay. Fernandez revealed his mother sent him to conversion therapy to change him. Her hope was that he would be accepted.
After hearing Jonathan’s story, Peter Gunz voiced his support to him. As Peter Gunz spoke, Amina Buddafly called him out. Amina Buddafly is Peter Gunz’ ex wife and she revealed Peter wouldn’t let his son dress as a ladybug for Halloween. This led to a huge argument between the exes.
Because of how she called Peter Gunz out, Amina Buddafly received a lot of backlash. A lot of fans accused Amina of trying to blast Peter for attention. There was some truth in that, as Amina broke down after Peter went off on her. When Rich Dollaz tried to calm her down, he told Amina she was making Peter look bad. Amina responded by saying Peter made her look bad for years, on “Love & Hip Hop,” and no one cared. Previews show Amina and Tara fighting.
