To start 2018, VH1 introduced “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” making it the fourth show in the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise. Easily, Amara La Negra was the runaway favorite, from season one. During the promos, which dated back to last summer, Amara was the face of the show.

Amara La Negra, when the show aired, got into a debate with her fellow cast members. The debate, which Young Hollywood started, became beef, with him and Veronica Vega, originally her friend. All of this was over “colorism” and Amara being “Afro-Latin.”

Now, the colorism debate has began to be taken much more seriously than it previously was. Amara La Negra was recently in LA and she visited Big Boy at Real 92.3. She spoke on her record deal, the show, haters, and much more.
