TV industry icon, Alfonso Ribeiro, has been in the industry for well over thirty years. Still, he is probably best-known for his role of Carlton Banks on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” The Will Smith-led sitcom has become a cult classic in 1990s nostalgia.

Hip hop’s first sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” launched the career of Alfonso Ribeiro as the world knows it. A couple of years ago, he experienced a resurgence after doing “The Carlton Dance” on “Dancing With The Stars.” Now, he is taking over as “America’s Funnest…” host.

Alfonso Ribeiro stopped by “Sway In The Morning” to talk to Sway about this on Shade 45. Given his dancing history on “Fresh Prince,” he explained where he learned to dance and the success of the show. He also discussed singing and went into detail about his and Will Smith’s friendship.
