Before he went into his sophomore album, Mac Miller got himself ready, by not dedicating much time to the album. Instead, Mac Miller released a slew of mixtapes and began his career as a reality television star. Once the first season of “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family” concluded on MTV2, Mac got to work.

Watching Movies with the Sound Off was first announced by Mac Miller before the end of 2012. But, Mac Miller did not place too much focus on the album until after his reality TV show wrapped their first season. This album has collaborations with Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler, the Creator, Action Bronson, and more.

Mac Miller has a lot at stake, going up against J. Cole and Kanye West on June 18. In addition to leaking the the track listing, Mac Miller launched his new web series, “The Space Migration Series.” He also talked about his upcoming Soundscan battle with DJ Skee.
