August Alsina has been the talk of social media over the last few weeks after he initially revealed in an interview with Angela Yee at the end of June that he had relations with Jada Pinkett Smith four years ago. She confirmed this in a ‘Red Table Talk‘ episode with her husband, Will Smith. She acknowledged that this happened between four-four and a half years ago when she and Smith were separated. Pinkett labeled her relationship with Alsina as an “entanglement” and that has been the popular word on social media since then. Smith also denied giving Alsina his blessings for this relationship.
Alsina isn’t letting this topic go at all as tonight, he is releasing a new song with Rick Ross titled “Entanglements.” Expect Alsina to discuss situations like these and maybe even slide in a few Jada mentions. He also provided a preview of the song on his Instagram feed just now. Alsina even said the definition of entanglement is when you get tangled in the sheets.
Alsina released his third studio album, ‘The Product III: State of Emergency,’ so you know he will do everything to push this project. The Jada Pinkett entanglement controversy is the perfect marketing method at the moment.
