A few weeks ago, Adele finally released her first song, since 2015. This was with “Easy On Me,” as it instantly became another international hit, for the singer.
Easy On Me went on to debut at number 68, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, but that was only with five hours of tracking. Now, the single has skyrocketed 67 spots, to the top of the Hot 100, per Chart Data. This also marks Adele’s fifth number one hit, on the chart.
Easy On Me’s 67-spot jump is also the biggest jump to number one, for any song, since Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do,” in 2017. At the time, that single jumped 76 spots. Easy On Me was able to jump over Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby,” ft. Jack Harlow, which reached number one for the first time, last week.
Earlier this month, Adele also revealed that her fourth studio album, “30,” will be out on November 19. This is also her first album since 2015, as that year saw her “25” album. That was her third consecutive number one album, and 30 is expected to keep the stream going.
