There are several labels capturing media attention. One of the hottest labels right now is the outfit of Top Dawg Entertainment in Los Angeles. They first delivered Jay Rock and then they unleashed Kendrick Lamar, and now they are preparing ScHoolboy Q. Top Dawg Entertainment is definitely the label of the future.
In New York, there are plenty of rappers who are making their way through the game and, right now, Action Bronson appears to be the hottest one. There are a few more who have more buzz than him, but Action Bronson is rapidly rising to the top. The only thing he is missing is a major label.
Earlier today, several media outlets reported about Action Bronson’s posts on Twitter that confirmed him joining Top Dawg Entertainment. No official confirmation has come from the executives at TDE. However, Action Bronson would be a welcomed addition to the label and would give them a boost on the East Coast.
