A lot weighs on what an artist presents to the game as their first official offering. The stakes are often raised very high, just looking at how many of the veterans came into the game. It wasn’t until recent years that interest in rising artists began to increase and the hometown TDE squad was a major reason why.
Top Dawg Entertainment has a talented roster and they paid their dues, which led to a joint venture with Interscope Records. As promised, all of the other projects are handled and Ab-Soul is now the focus of the label. There has been plenty of talk about his debut album and the album is in the works.
This afternoon, Ab-Soul took to his Twitter and he revealed the title of his album to the world. For the longest, it looked like Black Lip Pastor would be the album title, but Ab-Soul had other plans. These Days is the name of the new album from Ab-Soul, his major label debut.
