It is clear there is much more to the A$AP Mob than who emerged first. There is a lot of talent coming from the Harlem-based crew. Quickly, A$AP Ferg has emerged as the second in command within the crew. A$AP Ferg’s buzz has grown significantly on the strength of his “Work” single and the star-studded remix.
“Work” has become a big single and on Trap Lord, A$AP Ferg proved he could handle a full project on his own. When he announced the title of his project, A$AP Ferg got into a situation with Gucci Mane. At the time, Gucci Mane was preparing the release of his mixtape, Trap God 2.
A$AP Ferg overcame this and he considers Trap Lord to be his debut album. However, the album was released in the form of a mixtape, which is what it will be categorized as. When he was touring in Sacramento with Juicy J, A$AP Ferg talked about his new project to 2DopeBoyz.com.
