9-Year-Old Ezra Blount, Who’s Fighting For His Life, From Astroworld Festival Injuries, is Suing Travis Scott, as He’s Still in Medically Induced Coma, and on Life Support

The lawsuits against Travis Scott continue to pile up, after the horrific events that occurred, at his Astroworld Festival, last Friday. Eight people died, with one young boy fighting for his life. This is 9-year-old Ezra Blount, who went to the festival, with his father.

Blount is said to have been on his father’s shoulders, but his father soon lost consciousness, as both fell. According to TMZ, the boy was “trampled nearly to death.” The father also lost Blount, in the crowd.

On behalf of Blount, a lawsuit is now on the table, as he is being represented by attorney Benjamin Crump. Travis and Live Nation are the defendants. Crump added that Blount was “suddenly forced to watch in terror as several concertgoers were injured and killed.”

Court documents also stated that Blount went on to be “kicked, stepped on, and trampled.” While he wasn’t being assisted, “unconscious bodies of friends and strangers and surfed them over the top of the crowd, hoping to send them to safety.”

Currently, Blount is in a medically induced coma, and was placed on life support. There is also said to be severe damage to his liver, kidney and brain. Should he be able to recover from the coma, Blount will still struggle with his “ability to grow and thrive.”

Crump added that Travis and Live Nation “egregiously failed in their duty to protect the health, safety and lives.” He also blamed the lack of security to assist, as well as the lack of medical support, available. In this lawsuit, Blount and his father are hoping to receive general and exemplary damages.
