A master troll, 50 Cent received a major dose of his own medicine, this past weekend. 50 Cent was a part of Dr. Dre’s Super Bowl halftime show. When 50 Cent recreated “In Da Club,” fans immediately pointed out his weight gain. The jokes came instantly about 50’s size.

When 50 Cent was being made fun of, a discussion began about body shaming. Think pieces were spread around the internet about how 50 Cent was being fat shamed. There were also people who came to 50 Cent’s defense, saying he didn’t even look fat.

50 Cent has been in the game for twenty years, he can more than hold his own. Through his career, 50 Cent has had high profile feuds with Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, The Game, Young Buck, Jay-Z, Nas, and even his own G-Unit members. This goes without even mentioning the years 50 Cent spent trolling Diddy on social media. There were many people who looked at 50 Cent being made fun of and said he was getting a taste of his own medicine.

Obviously, none of the jokes were bothering 50 Cent. He used it as a business opportunity, as he took to Twitter, telling people to buy his G-Unit tank tops and headbands.
