Instead, 50 Cent was suspiciously quiet, as Fat Joe and Ja Rule battled. Still, he cast a huge shadow over the entire event. Remy Ma quoted “Raising Kanan,” 50’s new show, directly to Ja Rule, saying “streets need a body,” along with Fat Joe threatening to play “Candy Shop.”
50 Cent ended up trending on Twitter for absolutely no reason, during Fat Joe and Ja Rule’s Verzuz. Early on, fans were clowning Ja, in the comments, so Irv Gotti brought up how 50 was beaten and stabbed by their crew, as Fat Joe threatened to play “Candy Shop.” All of this led to fans making 50 trend, heavily, on Twitter.
