50 Cent Says He’ll Executive Produce and Finish Pop Smoke’s Upcoming Album; Roddy Ricch Confirms Feature

It is approaching two weeks since Pop Smoke’s murder in Hollywood Hills, CA. Police have since said they have reached a roadblock in their investigation. This is due to potential witnesses refusing to speak on what happening involving Smoke getting shot. In addition, others have changed their stories around. Authorities also believe that Smoke was targeted and it wasn’t a simple home invasion. The late Brooklyn rapper’s family has also said there’s been no facts that have surfaced yet regarding details of his murder.

Fellow New York native, 50 Cent, was a big fan of Smoke’s music. The two were seen in clubs together multiple times as well. 50 recently took to Instagram to say that he’s been on the move listening to Smoke’s music and that he’s decided to executive produce and finish the rest of his album. It’s unknown if Smoke’s family has cleared this though. Since 50 has come out publicly on this decision, then they may have actually given him the green light.

50’s next post on IG publicly asking for Roddy Ricch to appear on Smoke’s album. Ricch didn’t hesitate to reply as he said “Say less” in the comments section. Expect more superstars such as Ricch to appear on the project as well. 50 has already asked Drake too.

Smoke released the sequel to his 2019 “Meet The Woo” mixtape last month as it featured hits such as “Christopher Walking” and the “Dior” remix featuring Gunna. He broke out as a star in 2019 with his “Welcome To The Party” single which ended up receiving remixes with Nicki Minaj and Skepta.
