Currently, 50 Cent is in the midst of a strong comeback, but he is doing it with his businesses, as opposed to the music. All summer, 50 Cent killed it as Kanan on “Power” and now he is involved in his other businesses. Among them is Effen Vodka, Ciroc’s competition.
50 Cent definitely came a long way over the past thirteen years. While some didn’t see the vision, 50 Cent did and he is the only one who matters. Seeing how he is the head of his companies, 50 Cent is the only one who will ever truly matter.
There are a long list of emcees who came up before 50 Cent in Queens and he went at some of them. Among those who were once rivals was the Lost Boyz. At one point, Mr. Cheeks was a vocal rival, but now the two are on good terms, as 50 Cent posted a pic of them together on Instagram.
