Many rooted for G-Unit because of all that they overcame to get to the top. Being a native of Queens and watching them come up was amazing, because they continued to grind no matter what. 50 Cent hadn’t even completed his own movement before putting G-Unit on his mixtapes with DJ Whoo Kid.

The risk paid off, as 50 Cent had the biggest debut in hip hop history and made countless hits. This opened the door for 50 Cent to land his own partnership with Interscope Records that led to G-Unit emerging. But, this same attitude is what 50 attributes to G-Unit’s implosion.

Early this month, 50 Cent reunited G-Unit at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2014. Since then, they have been everywhere together, all over the internet. 50 Cent has spoken on the reunion and said a lot of the problems still exist, but he is overlooking it and he posted a photo of them on Instagram and said “This is gonna be fun.”
