No one cam remain on top forever, not even 50 Cent, but it looked like he could be able to pull it off back in 2003. Why not right now? was probably the question 50 Cent asked, as his debut album became one of the highest-selling hip hop albums of all time. When platinum isn’t enough, diamond is the way to go.

50 Cent began his run late in 2002 and it continued well into the summer of 2006, which included four multiplatinum albums and successful mixtapes. Putting together a solid run of his own, 50 Cent began a decline that coincided with his financial success. Aside from his music, 50 Cent is a business titan.

Recently, 50 Cent sat down with MTV for a quick little chat. In the last interview that he did with MTV News, 50 Cent talked about Jay-Z’s new album. But, when he most-recently talked to MTV, 50 Cent talked about the failure of the “We Up” single with Kendrick Lamar and his Street King Immortal album.
