42 Dugg arrested by federal agents after not reporting to prison

42 Dugg has turned into one of the biggest breakout rappers, over the past two years. He initially blew up in early 2020, after being featured on Lil Baby’s “We Paid” single. That collaboration went on to be one of the biggest hits of the year. Dugg also signed to Yo Gotti’s CMG record label.

In 2021, Dugg made even more noise with his “Free Dem Boyz” mixtape. He scored a major hit of his own, with “Maybach,” featuring Future. This spring, Dugg also went on to receive praise for his collab “Last Ones Left” album, with EST Gee.

At the same time though, Dugg has been dealing with a federal firearm case, since March 2020. He was arrested on the charge of illegal firearm possession. It was revealed that Dugg may just get get three years of probation.

Two months ago though, a judge handed down Dugg a six-month prison sentence. Two years of supervised release were also included. Now, federal agents have just arrested Dugg in his hometown, for failing to turn himself in, according to The Detroit News.

According to the outlet, Dugg was supposed to report to a West Virginia prison, back on April 12. Authorities were able to locate him, after landing in Detroit from Memphis, on Wednesday.  Five years in prison is now on the table for Dugg.
