21 Savage’s ICE Case Might Not Be Resolved Until 2022 as He Still Hasn’t Gotten a Court Date; Immigration Courts in Atlanta Are Also Backed Up and He Still Can’t Travel Outside of America

Back in February, 21 Savage was taken into custody by ICE after it was revealed that he wasn’t a citizen of the U.S but is actually from the United Kingdom. After a few weeks in custody, 21 was able to get released with the help of Jay Z’s Roc Nation. While in custody, he was supposedly subjected to inhuman conditions.

21 was finally able to get a work permit last month but according to TMZ, his immigration situation is far from over. He still can’t travel outside of America and immigration courts in Atlanta are extremely backed up. Due to this, 21’s situation may not be finished until 2022.

21 first came to America from the U.K back in 2005. His visa ended up expiring and has difficulty renewing it for years. This sadly continues to be a common trend in America for many people. The immigration process here is not easy by means, contrary to the what others try to say.
