Breakout artists come rather frequently and 2 Chainz was among those in 2012. Others included Meek Mill and Kendrick Lamar, when it came to 2012. But, 2 Chainz has, arguably, the biggest foundation. In addition to his own movement, he has a growing roster on his Def Jam venture, The Real University.
The Real University is the next project from 2 Chainz. Among the artists on 2 Chainz’ label are Cap1 and Ronn Makk. Cap1 is currently in the midst of a mixtape run, his new single, “Gang Bang,” with Young Jeezy and Game, is doing well. Ronn Makk, meanwhile, is also making major moves.
As the head of the company, 2 Chainz continues to break ground for The Real University, appearing on CBS. In addition to music, 2 Chainz is breaking into acting. 2 Chainz will be guest starring on CBS’ sitcom, “2 Broke Girls.” Airing on February 11, the day after the 55th Annual Grammy Awards broadcast, 2 Chainz will be playing as himself.
