One year ago, 2 Chainz was barely known, as many still knew him as Tity Boi, who was never known as a big name. Over the course of one year, 2 Chainz has not only established himself as a star, but as one of the biggest names in hip hop. The Atlanta emcee recently released his highly-anticipated debut album, Based on a T.R.U. Story.
As he assembled the pieces for his debut album, 2 Chainz soon began working with Drake and Kanye West. There have been rumors of 2 Chainz signing with G.O.O.D. Music, despite the deal he already has in place with Def Jam. 2 Chainz collaborated with Kanye West and Drake on his popular singles “Birthday Song” and “No Lie.”
FUSE TV recently spoke to 2 Chainz, who sat down with them for an interview. As he has done over the past month, 2 Chainz discussed his new album. 2 Chainz focused on the two singles off the album, “Birthday Song” and “No Lie.” During the interview, 2 Chainz discussed how both of those songs were made.
