For those wanting proof of hard work paying off, look no further than 2 Chainz, who began releasing mixtape tracks last summer and is now on tour with Drake. 2 Chainz spent the majority of his career as Tity Boi and his claim to fame was his hit single, “Duffle Bag Boy,” with Dolla Boy as Playaz Circle on DTP Records. Now, 2 Chainz has more hits to his name.
Working closely with Ludacris all of these years has paid off, as 2 Chainz has a business relationship with Def Jam. 2 Chainz has a joint venture with Def Jam for his own label, The Real University. Aside from the label, 2 Chainz will be the A&R for Ludacris’ upcoming album, Ludaversal. When he is not handling business, 2 Chainz is releasing a series of new songs.
Recently, 2 Chainz had the opportunity to sit down with Karen Civil and he spoke on being a part of the “Club Paradise” tour, his numerous collaborations, his relationship with Kanye West, and more.
