Starting at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2013, 2 Chainz has been a man on a mission. When the year of 2013 rolled in, 2 Chainz made plans to drop his sophomore album. Riding the success of his debut album, Based on a T.R.U. Story, 2 Chainz decided to make his sophomore album a sequel.
B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time became the shortened album title and “Feds Watching” became the lead single. Pharrell, who is back like he never left, is featured on the hook and did the production on the album. This summer, 2 Chainz released the artwork for his album, which Kanye West designed.
2 Chainz recently stopped by Power 106 during his time in Los Angeles. Doing a brief interview, 2 Chainz talked about the upcoming album. The album is a subtle, accurate, description of 2 Chainz, it is two chains dangling closely to each other and 2 Chainz explained this cover to Power 106.
