Long before rap, 2 Chainz was a basketball star here in Atlanta. Given his height, there was a period of time when 2 Chainz considered pursuing basketball. But, this didn’t happen and 2 Chainz instead ended up becoming one of the biggest rap stars of the 2010s.
However, the basketball passion lives on with 2 Chainz, so when his team, Street Execs, played at Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League, he was there. This past Saturday, they played alongside MDHD, Good Life Music, Uptown Sounds, Land of Flyy, Monopoly Bros. and Grind Hard HD. Street Execs had a legendary coach.
Famed Harlem Globetrotter, Michael Douglass coached Street Execs. But, 2 Chainz couldn’t resist and he ended up assisting with the coaching. The event was good for all who attended and the defending champions, Gold Gang, improved their record to 2-0 on the season.
