It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago when Ashanti was churning out hits on top of hits with Ja Rule. But, their run started in 2001 and was over by 2004. Their three year run ended ten years ago and, in all honesty, the hip hop world has not been the same since.
When Ashanti had her initial run from 2002 through 2006, she showed the world she was more than a gifted voice. Once opportunities presented themselves, Ashanti showed her body off to the world. Surely, there were a lot of people surprised when they saw her in Shyne’s “Jimmy Choo” video.
Ashanti posted herself enjoying the warm weather by a pool on Instagram. Of course, a lot of people who enjoyed looking at Ashanti, even if she hadn’t offered a treat. No, Ashanti did not say her slips are her gifts to the world, but it doesn’t mean the audience didn’t appreciate seeing her in a bikini and getting a glimpse of her private.
