Read the entire Tarina interview below:

How would you describe you career, at this point? I would say this is just the beginning.

How long have you been working for Suga Cane Entertainment? We came across each other on Facebook back in February. From there, we just began working.

Tell us a little bit about your time with Suga Cane? Thus far, it has been awesome. The CEO keeps everyone, including myself, updated with new events and by me being one of the models who does not reside where the actual agency does, its very difficult for me to go back and forth to the events, so they are very understanding when I am not able to attend any events.

Thus far, how has your experience been? Things have been going kind of “rocky” trying to book great gigs. Finding the best of the best photographers is hard work, I’ve dealt with individuals who does not know a thing about what they are trying to do, but it’s always a “well lesson learned” for the most part! I am just going to continue to work and fight for what I want, which is to become a well respected black model.

Have been a victim of falling star struck? No (laughs).

Do you have trouble separating the business from the personal? I leave the personal at the door and then I begin the business.

How long have you been modeling? Actually, I have not been modeling that long. I began when I relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina from Flint, Michigan. For as long as I can remember, I have been told that I should model and that I have “the look.” I never really paid attention to those comments until I came to Charlotte and I needed something to do. It was then when I decided I should model, I know I can do it.

Can you tell us about your love of entertaining? I feel I was born to both entertain and teach.

How do you feel about the nightlife, seeing how you work in it? I still enjoy it a lot .As a model, your life seems to never stop to get a break, but I have a personal life also, to where I can sleep when I want, party or even if its just spending some time with loved ones.

Has all this modeling turned you into a local celebrity, of sorts? No, but hopefully it soon will.
