Usually, when people are talking about the DMV area, they are discussing how unique the area is. There are many beautiful women who call the DMV home and one of them is Fantasia Hopkins. Fortunately for Hip Hop Vibe, she agreed to give us some attention this week.
Scheduling was a little rough, so the Hottie of the Week edition comes late in the evening instead of the early afternoon. But, the past is the past and the present is a present for those who like looking at beautiful women. Fantasia Hopkins has made her rounds in the industry and she has more to make.
This week, Fantasia Hopkins talked to Hip Hop Vibe about her upbringing in the DMV area. She also discussed some of her wildest moments during her modeling career. Still considering herself an up-and-comer, Fantasia Hopkins discussed her hopes for the future.

Where did you grow up and where do you currently reside? I grew up in Portsmouth, VA although I always went to school in Chesapeake. Mama wanted me going to the best schools! Currently, I reside in PG County, MD.
How long have you been working as a model? I’ve been modeling, now, since 2011.
What made you pursue a career in modeling and who were some of your inspirations? Modeling was never on the “To-Do” list, but associates of mine persuaded me into giving it a shot. Two models that I’ve always looked up to and respected in the industry are Melyssa Ford and LisaRaye.
What would you say is your sexiest feature and quality? I would have to say my curves! I love every inch of them.
Who are some of the people in the industry that you have worked with? I’ve worked with a number of photographers, models, and entertainers in the industry. I’ve worked with Ice Box Studios, Raheem DeVaughn, Wankaego, Cubana Lust, and more.
What would your friends say about your personality? My friends would definitely say that I’m too nice. (Laughs). I think they admire my generosity and compassion for others. I tend to put others before myself, which has been both a good and bad thing.
Are you currently working on any projects? Right now, I’ve been working towards getting some merchandise out on the market. At the moment, I do have a few t-shirts available through All American Dimes, but that is only the beginning.
What do you find attractive in a man? What I find to be the most attractive in men is their intelligence and work ethic. There’s nothing like an intelligent, hard-working man! (Gives sly look and flirts with eyes) (Laughs).
Do you have any wild and crazy moments behind the scenes of any shoots or videos? I’ve been fortunate not to have any bad experiences during any of my shoots or videos. However, my wildest moment was when I had to work with an albino boa constrictor. I had to take the place of another model, so I had no knowledge or fair warning that I’d be working with a snake! (Laughs). It actually wasn’t as bad as I expected and the snake seemed to have fun too! (Laughs).
