Mellow Rackz says her security set her up to be robbed of her jewelry
This year, 20-year-old Broward County rapper, Mellow Rackz, has been making a name for herself. She signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money record label, after being brought to the table, by Mack Maine. She also performed at Future’s Haiti Benefit concert, in December. In 2021, Mellow was making noise with her “Diamonds” single. Last month, she also released her Young Money debut single, “What I Want.”
Mellow recently ran into a very scary situation, out in Los Angeles. She reportedly tried to meet up with a man for a date, but her and her security were reportedly robbed, at gun point. Mellow lost her jewelry, as well as a bag she had, according to Say Cheese.
Mellow is now clarifying what happened, as she revealed that her own security were who set her up, that night. She did emphasize though, that she will bounce back, and move on from this setback. Mellow spoke on the situation, during an Instagram Live session.
Mellow has since taken to her IG stories, to show that she is working on a new “Mellow Rackz” chain. She was also recently booked to perform at Rolling Loud Toronto, this fall. She will also be performing at RL Miami, in July.
