Six years ago, The-Dream was the hottest R&B artist out and he’s remained a presence in the game since then. Originally signed to Def Jam, The-Dream ended up assuming an executive role with the label. After going executive, The-Dream retired from the game.
Back in 2012, The-Dream returned to the game and he put out albums in both 2012 and 2013. Now, the unexpected has taken place after The-Dream has released all of his albums under the Def Jam imprint. It looks as if The-Dream’s entire affiliation with Def Jam is over.
The-Dream recently posted a message on his Instagram that confirmed his time with the label being over. Five albums deep, The-Dream has ended his run with the label and now he is moving on with his career. There is no word on exactly what will be coming next from The-Dream, but success is sure to follow him.
