Nelly and Ashanti rumored to be expecting first child together
Nelly and Ashanti officially got back together as a couple this year, after initially dating in the 2000s and 2010s. Moreover, there has also been rumors that the two may be expecting their first child together. This comes after Nelly was seen rubbing Ashanti’s stomach during his Black & White Ball event, this past weekend.
Meanwhile, reports are now claiming that Ashanti and Nelly are actually expecting, according to US Weekly. This would be Ashanti’s first child overall, while Nelly already has two. Those are Chanelle, 29, and son Cornell Haynes III, 24. The legendary St. Louis rapper had both of his children with ex-girlfriend Channetta Valentine.
Earlier this year, Nelly and Ashanti created dating rumors again, after being spotted at a boxing match together. This was the highly anticipated Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia fight, in Las Vegas. That came 10 years after they officially split.
“A few years ago, Ashanti never would’ve imagined reconciling with Nelly, but they’re enjoying spending time together,” said a source close to Nelly and Ashanti, at the time. “They don’t want to rush anything.”
