In recent weeks, Torch and Gunplay have been holding the fort down for Maybach Music. Rick Ross kicked off 2012 in grand fashion with his Rich Forever mixtape. The mixtape outperformed many of his early albums and established himself as one of the major players for yet another year. Maybach Music, with Wale and Meek Mill added to the team, dominated 2011.
The domination has continued into 2012. Tonight, the starting lineup of Maybach Music will be in Rochester, New York. They will be performing their number of hits, alongside another 2011 breakout artist, French Montana. The show will take place tonight at the Blue Cross Arena. In a short period of time, several hits have been released from the Maybach Music factory. French Montana was recruited to join the crew, but he ended up signing with Bad Boy Records, but will still work with Rick Ross.
French Montana most-recently hooked up with Rick Ross for the mixtape hit, “Stay Schemin.'” More than likely, Rick Ross will team up with French Montana to perform their hit single. DJ Sam Sneaker will be mixing the music at the show.
