What a lot of people may not be aware of is the relationship Madonna shares with Jay-Z and Beyonce. On The Black Album, Jay-Z actually sampled Madonna, on one track. He often shouts her out and Beyonce has sometimes cited Madonna as inspiration.
Of course, back in 2015, Madonna was one of the original artists to join the TIDAL platform. Three years later, Jay-Z and Beyonce, The Carters, dropped their joint album. The Everything Is Love album is led by the single, “APESH!T,” which has an interesting video.
Since 2013, Jay-Z has often shown off fine art, rapping about it on his most-recent albums. The “APESH!T” video includes this and people have taken notice. Jokingly, Madonna called The Carters out, saying “learning from the master.”
