Few artists have experienced as many unfortunate circumstances in their careers as Ja Rule did. Some artists reach the heights of their careers and voluntarily walk away. Unfortunately, Ja Rule found himself ripped from the top by forces more powerful than him.
Instead of letting it turn him bitter, Ja Rule gracefully transitioned into an elder statesman no longer competing for the top spot. Now, he often offers commentary on hip hop’s big moments. Then, he planned to do something nice, Fyre Festival, for the fans.
Early this morning, Fyre Festival began trending on Twitter, as fans complained of how low quality the event was. Because Ja Rule so prominently attached his name to the event, the blame fell upon his shoulders. While Ja Rule made it clear the breakdown wasn’t his fault, he assured he’d work to make sure every person was refunded who attended.
